As Facebook prices for cost per click advertising goes up, you’ve got to have two things to make a lot of money from a campaign:

1) A big advertising budget.
2) The aptitude to scale your campaign once the testing stage has shown an offer converts at a positive return on investment (ROI)

If you don’t have a lot of cash to spend, just get a credit card with a big overdraft (or credit limit), and start using it to fund your campaigns. Once you get your payout, you’ll recover the initial amount you spent and have a nice profit on top to boot. Keep doing this and as your desire to scale your campaigns even further occurs, call your bank and explain your expenditure and income levels to have them increase your overdraft.

Of course, the offer has to convert for you at a profit in the first place, so you must do an initial testing stage to see if it’s worth scaling or not. To do this, simply select your offer from your CPA network, and depending on how much it pays per lead, set your maximum CPC acordingly. Also set your budget to the maximum you’re allowed, so long as you remember to check the campaign regularly to make sure it is running at a profit, and kill it if it isn’t.

I usually spend $100 worth of clicks to check if I come out with a profit. You should check your statistic on the CPA network to see how much the epc is. The epc is the earnings per click. So if your epc is $0.30, and you’re spending an average of $0.25 per click, then you are making a profit of $0.05 for every click made. Now this may not sound much, but when you scale the campaign from $100 a day to $1000 a day, and then $5000 a day and so on, you can make a huge amount of money. But of course you have to spend a lot as well, so make sure the testing stage gives you a good enough impression that the offer is going to do well, and also make sure you use sub tracking. This is done simply by adding a keyword to the end of your affiliate link, you can add a sub-id in your link easily, just look for the bit which tells you to do so.

I’m more than willing to answer questions, so post any as comments and if it’s good enough I’ll do a follow up post ;)
